Collection of general information
When you access our website or database with our app, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider and the like. This is exclusively information that does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person. This information is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the content you have requested and is mandatory when using the Internet. Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us in order to optimize our Internet presence and the technology behind it.
You can visit the website or use the app without providing any personal information.
Different regulations may apply to the use of individual services of our application, which in this case will be explained separately below. The legal principles of data protection can be found in particular in the Basic Data Protection Ordinance (DS-GVO).

Use of Device Identification Features in Apps
Within our apps we use different methods for device identification (e.g. for the provision of functions, for error evaluation and for statistical reporting purposes) and for the playout of user-specific information. We do this in particular in order to offer "push messages" within the functions of the apps and for the targeted control of advertising within applications as well as across applications offered by us. The latter is particularly relevant in the context of frequency capping, which ensures that advertising is only played out at a certain frequency for the user. In this context, an identification feature is transmitted to our service providers/partners AdMob.
The IDs are created on your device in compliance with the guidelines and specifications of the operating system providers. We also observe your settings for user-specific advertising. Push messages are played out via so-called "device tokens", an ID generated by Apple or Google (for Android Apps) at the start of the app.

SSL encryption
In order to protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption procedures (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.
